Frequently Asked Questions – In-School Curriculum Teaching

1. What is your in-school teaching service?
We offer a fully planned and delivered in-school teaching service that supports Computing, STEM, and Design & Technology (DT) curriculum delivery during the school day. This includes coding, robotics, physical computing, online safety, and real-world technology application for KS1–KS3.

2. Who delivers the lessons?
Our sessions are led by experienced educators, including a fully qualified teacher and a trained teaching assistant (TA). Both are enhanced DBS-checked, first aid trained, and fully trained in safeguarding and Prevent.

3. How much does it cost?
Our in-school teaching service is priced at £250 per day, which includes a qualified teacher, a TA, all lesson resources, planning, and STEM equipment.

4. What topics are covered?
We teach a broad, forward-thinking curriculum including coding (Scratch, Python, JavaScript), robotics, micro:bit, Arduino, AI, machine learning, app and game design, sensors, and engineering concepts. Every session is curriculum-aligned and includes online safety elements.

5. Do your sessions meet national curriculum requirements?
Yes. Our programme is fully aligned with the national curriculum for Computing and DT. Lessons are designed in consultation with researchers from leading institutions.

6. Can we use this service for PPA cover?
Absolutely. We can provide reliable, high-quality PPA cover with consistent educators, a fully resourced curriculum, and all necessary planning and reporting.

7. Do you bring your own resources?
Yes, we bring all necessary tech and equipment. We just need a classroom with a projector or whiteboard and access to WiFi if we are using our own devices. Alternatively, we’re happy to use your existing devices if preferred.

8. How long does the arrangement need to be?
We recommend a commitment of at least half a term, with sessions delivered once per week. Shorter arrangements can be accommodated through multiple enrichment days, offered as a package.

9. Do you work with students with SEN requirements?
Yes. We are inclusive and experienced in supporting a wide range of needs. However, if a pupil requires 1:1 support in school, they will need equivalent support during our sessions too. We are always happy to work with your SEN team to make appropriate arrangements.
