Your child will enjoy hands-on access to laptops, coding platforms, robotics kits, sensors, circuits, and 3D printers—all the exciting tools we use in our popular after-school clubs. We bring the experience to your home in Rutland, Leicestershire, Northamptonshire, or Lincolnshire, making it convenient and stress-free for parents.

Activities Include:

Game design and coding

Children will get the opportunity to design and code games using platforms such as Scratch, Delightex, p5.js and Trinket! Kids will be guided by the teacher to build a base game, and then supported to extend their game to be entirely unique to them.

Programming Robots

Kids will get the chance to build and program their own robots from scratch. Teachers will help and assist children to develop their own robotics using simple instructions. Kids with advanced skills will get the chance to design their own robots too!

3D printing and modelling

Kids will get the chance to 3D print their own design using TinkerCAD! This is a firm favourite activity with our students, and kids get to take home what they have created at the end of the day!

1. What ages do you cater for?
We work with children aged 5–12. For small groups, kids should be of similar ages and abilities, or siblings who are patient with one another.

2. How much does a private session cost?
Each 90-minute session costs £35, and you can include up to 4 children in a group.

3. Where do sessions take place?
We come to your home in Rutland, Leicestershire, Northamptonshire, or Lincolnshire for convenience.

4. What days and times are available?

  • Home education sessions: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Friday mornings

  • Weekday evenings

  • Weekends

 

5. What activities will my child do?
Children will have private access to laptops, coding platforms, robotics kits, sensors, circuits, and 3D printers, following the same exciting projects we run in our after-school clubs.

 

6. Can siblings join the same session?
Yes! Siblings can join as long as they are patient with one another. For non-sibling groups, we recommend similar ages and abilities for the best experience.

 

7. How do I book a session?
Simply contact us to arrange a time that works for you. We’ll confirm availability and tailor the session to your child’s interests.

8. Do you provide all the equipment for the session?
Yes! We bring everything your child needs, including laptops, robotics kits, sensors, circuits, and even a 3D printer for creative projects.

 

9. Can you tailor the session to my child’s interests?
Absolutely. We customise activities based on your child’s age, ability, and interests, whether that’s coding, robotics, or engineering challenges.

 

10. Do you offer sessions for home-educated children?
Yes! We run home education sessions on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings, perfect for families looking for structured STEM learning.

 

11. How do I pay for the sessions?
Payment is simple and secure. We’ll provide details when you book your session.

 

12. What if my child is completely new to coding?
No problem! We start with beginner-friendly projects and gradually build confidence and skills.

 

13. Do you offer ongoing mentoring or just one-off sessions?
Both options are available. Many families book regular sessions to help their child progress over time.

 

14. How far do you travel for sessions?
We cover Rutland, Leicestershire, Northamptonshire, and Lincolnshire. If you’re nearby, we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

 

15. Can parents stay during the session?
Yes, parents are welcome to stay and observe if they’d like.

 

16. What safety measures do you follow?
All sessions are led by experienced, DBS-checked mentors, and we follow strict safeguarding guidelines.
