We’re Now a Rutland HAF Provider – Book Your Free Coding Camp!

We’re thrilled to announce that Young Innovators Club is now an approved provider for the Rutland Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Programme! Eligible families can book our Code and Create Camp completely free through the HAF scheme.

What is the HAF Programme?

The Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Programme is funded by the Department for Education and delivered locally by Rutland County Council. It provides free, enriching activities and healthy meals for children aged 4–16 who receive income-related free school meals. Up to 15% of places can also be offered to children who may benefit for other reasons, such as being a young carer or from a military family.

About Our Code and Create Camp

Our camp is all about hands-on coding and STEM fun. Children aged 6–12 will design games, program micro:bits, and explore robotics in a safe, creative environment. Sessions run from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm at the Scout and Guide Hut, Oakham. For HAF-funded places, drinks, snacks, and a healthy meal are included. All equipment is provided, and our team is DBS-checked, safeguarding-trained, and first-aid certified.

How to Book

• HAF-funded places: Book through the Rutland HAF platform on Eequ: Code and Create Camp on Eequ Select your dates and complete the short booking form. Your place will be confirmed once eligibility is approved.

• Non-HAF places: If your child is not eligible for HAF funding, you can still join the fun! Please book directly through our website: Book via Young Innovators Club Non-HAF bookings are charged at our standard rate, and children will need to bring their own packed lunch, snacks, and drinks.
